Liverpool to face Borussia Dortmund in Europa League quarter-finals

Jurgen Klopp will return to Borussia Dortmund for the first time as Liverpool manager after the clubs were drawn together in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Klopp and Liverpool will travel to Germany for the first leg on April 7, before hosting Dortmund at Anfield a week later.

Jurgen Klopp is confident Liverpool can get to the Europa League final

It will be the first time Klopp has returned to the Westfalenstadion after deciding to leave Dortmund at the end of 2014-15 season following seven years with the club.

During his time with Dortmund, Klopp led the club to two Bundesliga titles as well as the Champions League final in 2013, when they were beaten 2-1 by Bayern Munich at Wembley.

Dortmund, now under the management of Thomas Tuchel, progressed to the last eight in emphatic fashion, beating Liverpool's Premier League rivals Tottenham 5-1 on aggregate.

Liverpool booked their place after a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford secured a 3-1 aggregate win. 

Holders Sevilla, who are looking to win the Europa League for a third year in a row, have been drawn against domestic rivals Athletic Bilbao.
